Crooked River Farm is a stunning wedding venue in Hiltons, VA, and June 22 was an AMAZING day! Lauren + Ryan along with their sweet families and close friends worked so hard to make this day special. When I woke up on the morning of this wedding, it was pouring the rain!! I constantly checked my weather app all morning – I wasn’t feeling too hopeful, but prayed the weather would change!

As I arrived to the venue, I nervously reassured everyone the weather would be okay! I mean, surely it wouldn’t rain ALL day!! Lauren + Ryan were not phased one bit – they were just happy to be getting married! As we started preparing for the first look, the rain completely let up and the sun was actually trying to peek through the clouds! It was a wedding-day-weather-miracle!

I will forever describe this day is JOYFUL! Lauren + Ryan had their first look out in the open fields, and they blocked out the world while reading their notes to each other. The bridal party was SO much fun too! And considering there were 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen, along with four flower girls and ring bearers, they were the easiest group to direct.

We love this sweet couple, and we loved being the ones to capture the beginning of their story!! Enjoy just a few of my favorites from their wedding day!
