Camryn + Mason’s Colorful Spring Mountain Wedding

I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since Camryn and Mason said “I do” for their spring mountain wedding! Their wedding day was full of timeless elegance and joyful color, and the most peaceful mountain backdrop. With their one year anniversary coming up this weekend, it felt like the perfect time to finally share more from their day. This blog post has been sitting on my heart for months, and I’m so excited to take a little look back on of my favorite couples wedding days! From the first look and vows in an open-air chapel to golden hour portraits in an open mountain field, this wedding offered the perfect blend of romantic details and mountain charm.

A Classic Colorful Wedding

Camryn looked absolutely stunning in her classic satin off-the-shoulder gown, paired with a cathedral-length veil and a sprinkle of pearls that added the perfect touch of timeless bridal style. The girls wore baby pink, while Mason and the guys were in gray suits that looked amazing against the spring backdrop. And can we talk about their florals?! Soft blush tones mixed with pops of orange, yellow, and white – it was all so stunning. Everything about their styling felt true to them: classic, but with a little pop.

The Mountain Backdrop

This spring wedding in the mountains was all about variety. The couple took full advantage of the natural beauty around them:

The First Look, Private Vows, and Ceremony: Camryn and Mason shared their first look and private vows in the open-air chapel before the ceremony. With a light chance of rain in the forecast, it ended up being the perfect spot—covered, peaceful, and surrounded by the softest light (and more florals!)

Golden Hour Field Photos: Just before sunset, we headed to an open field for golden hour portraits. I mean… WOW. The light, the colors, the way they looked at each other—it was magic. One of my favorite parts of the day. It was mostly cloudy all day long, but I was so excited to see the sun pop out just in time for golden hour!

Getting Ready: Camryn and her bridesmaids got ready in a more rustic bridal suite flooded with natural light – pearl details, soft robes, and a champagne pop on the balcony felt like a bridal morning Pinterest board come to life.

The Reception: Their reception was held inside the barn with twinkle lights, pink lanterns, scattered and hanging florals, and soft textures. Between the elegant place settings, special dances, emotional toasts, and a packed dance floor – this was a night to remember. You could just feel how loved they are by everyone around them.

Camryn + Mason

Camryn and Mason are hands-down one of my favorite couples I’ve ever had the joy of photographing! From the very beginning, they were so kind, accommodating, and just easy to plan with. Every part of working with them felt calm and fun – no stress, no pressure, just trust and joy the whole way through. From fully trusting me to guide their day, helping with a wedding day timeline, and giving me creative freedom for their portraits, it made such a difference. I’ll never forget how laid-back they were – even when the forecast looked a little questionable there for a bit. They were all smiles, totally in the moment, and rolled with anything that came their way. Couples like this make everything feel effortless and remind me exactly why I do what I do.

Planning your own spring mountain wedding?

If you’re dreaming of a spring wedding with colorful details and a mountain backdrop, let this be your inspiration. You don’t have to choose between elegant and fun—you can absolutely have both. Mix the timeless touches with a little personality, and you’ll create something that’s beautifully you. I still can’t get over the joy, color, and love that filled Camryn and Mason’s day. These two set the bar high for spring weddings in the mountains-and what a sweet day to celebrate their anniversary weekend.
