I met up with Ryan and Lauren on a beautiful fall evening at Crooked River Farm in Hiltons, Virginia for their engagement session! Meeting these two is like seeing old friends that you haven’t seen in forever! They are welcoming, sweet, and SO easy going!

These two attend Liberty University, and we scheduled these photos during their fall break while they were in town visiting their families! We originally set out to take their engagement photos on Roan Mountain, but the weather wasn’t looking too promising. I am so glad we ended up changing locations last minute because we had the prettiest golden hour!

We first began their engagement session IN the river! This evening was actually rather warm for a fall setting and the water felt amazing! When they mentioned to me that they would be up for going in the river, I was here for it!!

Next, we decided to move to the open fields with the mountains! And let me tell you, I am LOVING these glowy images!!! I’m so glad we were able to get some sun when the weather was supposed to be overcast!

We also had to highlight the beautiful Ohio Grist Mill where their reception will be! The entrance door is so tall and magnificent!!

Lauren and Ryan, I am sooo excited for your Crooked River Farm wedding in Hiltons, Virginia next June!! I know it’s going to be the perfect day!
