Roan Mountain Bridal Session

I am speechless about Nicole’s gorgeous Roan Mountain bridal session!! On this beautiful evening, we hiked up Carver’s Gap to the best golden hour! This sun is completely deceiving though because it had to be the coldest and windiest day we had in November!

A few months ago, I had a giveaway on my Instagram (@kellieholdenphotography) and I was so happy to see Nicole’s name chosen out of all of the entries! And I was even happier when she told me she wanted to do her bridals on Roan Mountain!!

There was a time when neither of us thought these photos were not going to happen on this date! As this day was getting closer, it looked like the rain was going to set in big time. Little did we know that was the least of our worries! When I woke up on this morning, it was overcast, but I saw that the sun was going to pop out for the entire afternoon!! That is a huge miracle for mountain weather! Our only concern ended up being the wind, but thankfully her hairstylist did an amazing job and we shot in between the gusts of wind.
