This past June, Chateau Selah in Blountville, Tennessee, transformed into the perfect setting for Marshall and Audreyana’s dream day. With a love story built on years of shared memories, these high school sweethearts created an unforgettable celebration. Audreyana and Marshall’s wedding was an incredible day brought to life by their closest family, friends, and an incredible team of vendors. Even their adorable golden doodle, Darci, was able to join in on the festivities!
Bridal Details + Getting Ready
The morning of the wedding was filled with excitement as Audreyana and her bridesmaids got ready in Chateau Selah’s beautiful bridal suite. While the hair and makeup team worked their magic on the ladies, we began our day by photographing Audreyana’s incredible bridal details.
Her flat lay included beautiful pieces like her invitation suite with elegant calligraphy, soft blush tones, and delicate florals. One standout detail was her custom perfume bottle, etched with her new last name and filled with a special scent for her wedding day.
Audreyana’s bouquet was another masterpiece. It featured a romantic mix of neutral blooms with blush accents, tied together with cascading ribbons in soft, flowing shades. The bouquet truly pulled together the wedding’s color palette, and the movement of the ribbons added a whimsical touch.
Even Darci, their sweet golden doodle, had her own special touch – a custom bow necklace that matched the entire look of the day. This wasn’t just any bow though – it was originally part of Audreyana’s wedding gown, repurposed into a unique accessory for Darci.
From Audreyana’s velvet ring box to her classic white bow flats and pearl earrings, every item had meaning and added to the beauty of the day. These little details made the morning feel magical and set the tone for an unforgettable wedding.
The Ceremony: A Romantic Italian Villa Wedding
The ceremony took place outdoors at Chateau Selah, a true Italian villa wedding with its inspired architecture and sweeping mountain views providing the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable moment. The arbor transformed with beautiful draping, neutral florals, and blush pink accents. Stunning floral arrangements lined the aisle, and orbs hung in the trees to add a magical lighting touch.
When the doors opened and Audreyana stepped out in her beautiful classic gown, all eyes then turn to Marshall. He was filled with joy the entire day, and this was the moment they were finally able to see each other for the first time. They have dreamed of this moment for so long, and it was such an honor to be there to capture it.
Bride + Groom Portraits
Once the ceremony had finished, we moved into one of the most special parts of the day – capturing Audreyana and Marshall’s first portraits as husband and wife. The setting at Chateau Selah could not have been more beautiful. We first began their portraits with the beautiful floral arbor, and then moved to capturing the beautiful mountains behind them.
Even their golden doodle, Darci, joined them for a few portraits – their first official family photos. Darci absolutely stole the show with her adorable energy. Whether she was sitting proudly between the couple or wagging her tail with excitement, she brought an undeniable joy to every shot. Her custom bow, made from a piece of Audreyana’s wedding gown, made her look extra special and perfectly matched the aesthetic of the day.
The Vendor Team
Having an amazing vendor team is one of the most important elements of a smooth and memorable wedding day. Every vendor plays a vital role in bringing a couple’s vision to life, but the magic truly happens when the team works together seamlessly.
